This self-titled debut features twelve infectious songs all penned by Matt.  From the straight alt-country rock of album opener "The Line" on through to the pedal steel-tinged desert waltz of closer "Eastside Serenade," the record's Southwestern roots will be very present, but there is much more to be found within:  Hendrix and Chris Cornell-infused guitar rock ("Already Gone"), songs to play while driving 120 mph over a bridge ("Easier"), the Beatles-meet-Elliott Smith introspective ("December 6th"), more polished indie rock ("Blue & Grey"), and many points in between.

The record features Brent Stranathan on drums and Matt Wigton on bass, with guest spots including Brooke Campbell on vocals and Bob Hoffnar on pedal steel.  Matt sings and plays guitars, keys, accordion and percussion.  Produced and recorded by Mat Leland, Craig Wilson, and Matt Hinkley.
